In partnership with the School of Fine Art Nantes – Saint-Nazaire, Le Grand Café organises a yearly cycle of art history conferences. These conferences set contemporary artworks in a historical perspective, and are part of an education programme that gives the public reference points and links the artworks studied to the society in which they exist.
At the end of each conference in the cycle there is time for discussion between the speaker and the public.
