Exhibition
Le Grand Café – contemporary art centre presents its last exhibition, an invitation to artist Hélène Bertin. For the occasion, the artist has elected to co-create a collective, also made up of Nina Bernagozzi, Clémence Marin, Angeline Ostinelli, Aurore Pélisson and Magali Wagner, under the name Mains Magiques [Magic Hands]. The artists-craftworkers of Mains Magiques will be with the site and those who use it through this transitional moment.
The exhibition Toucher le présent [Touching the present] is a collective response and, by extension, a reflection on the vital force of art. The different creations of Mains Magiques offer an experience anchored in the present and based upon improvisation and sharing. Using plants, pigments and clay, the exhibition celebrates transformation, the living, and the power of creation.
